I have a 1974 d100 step side pickup in need of some body work. I also have access to a 1974 d200 camper special in really nice shape.
I am considering getting the d100 and swapping various parts. For instance, rather than doing body work to my cab, with some areas of serious rust, dents in fenders, doors, valance, dinged and dented grill, a bad dash pad, questionable gauges and other electronics, etc... I am considering doing a full front end/cab swap with the d200 which has none of those issues and comes with all the extras like air conditioning... Or swapping out the beds.
Either way, are the d200 and d100 cabs and other sheet metal the same dimensions... Same frame dimensions, widths, etc. To accomplish either swap?
