D20 with a drum brake?

Is this an old style e-brake? I can't find anything on google about it, so I thought I'd come out of lurk mode and ask you guys. Is it any more valuable than a standard d20? Thanks ahead of time.

No, a d20 with a parking brake is not all that unusual, but IH never used that setup on a vehicle equipped oem with a d18 or d20 that we know of.

If you have one, what vehicle is it mounted in?

Here is a scan of a partial section of the spicer parts list for the bill of materials # 300596 variation of the unit you are asking about. Use this page as an addendum to the full parts list for these units. Unfortunately this is a poor copy that I use, I don't have the original spicer source document.

While the knowledge base for spicer/Dana axles and transmissions provided on their website is extensive, unfortunately there is no posted information regarding the transfer cases. The d18 and the d20 are extremely similar in design/operation and parts interchange, so take a look at this information from novak, you will see a parts breakdown for a d18 with drum-type parking brake also.:
