Has anyone used one of these. The one they sent looks different than the one that was on it. I just tried to install my windshield. Not only was it confusing which groove to use but it seems to be too long. I guessed as to the groove, but then it appears to be 6" or so to long to fit around the glass.

They are not too long. Upon installation, the excess all gets crammed in the four corners so as the seal dries out it doesn't leave a gap between it and the windshield frame.
