CPT Spring Hanger question

Are the CPT spring hangers made to be direct replacement for the Scout II factory front spring hangers? Unlike the factory ones, the cpts look like they'd be really easy to position correctly and weld into place.

One question I have is, are they as strong as reinforced factory spring hangers? By that I mean hangers with the commonly done gussets on the back?

I welded braces onto my hangers years ago, after one broke off, and so I'm happy with their strength. However, I have a problem with the front shackles splaying outward of one another---the bottoms are about 1/4" farther apart than the tops. Putting it another way in case this sounds confusing, the drivers-side and passenger side shackle assemblies are farther apart from one another at the bases than they are at tops, by about 1/4". Is that easier to understand? It's quite noticeable with 5" shackles and looked downright odd with the old 3" stockers.

Since the springs pivot (so to speak) on the axle's spring pads, the only thing I can think would cause this problem is the rear hangers being closer together than the front shackle mounts. So maybe I should reposition them. The cpts seem much easier to work with than the factory ones.

The CPT hangers that we sell are a universal hanger but works well on Scout II applications for the front spring hanger.

As for positioning I would make sure that the spring eyes are the same distance apart front and rear. If they are not then make the correction when welding on the new hangers.
