CPT reverse shackle kit ?

I just bought the reverse shackle kit and in the instructions it say load springs before drilling holes for shackles and set at 5 degrees. Well I have no motor in my Scout at the moment and am not a rocket scientist so if theres no motor = theres less weight in front end so spring wont be fully compressed. And in the end shackles will be more towards the end of not 15 degrees. Got any ideas besides putting motor in since its being rebuilt and I dont have it? Thanks
 
Buy 15 or so 60lbs bags of sand or something of the like. Put some cross support in and stack them up. You need to add 800 - 1000 lbs to the front of it. What ever it takes to add the weight of the motor to the front of the Scout.
 
Ya beach party. Sounds cool. Just curious if there was a cheater way but looks like no way but the right way
