The CPT drag link kit I ordered, arrived a couple of days ago (very fast shipping, thanks), and I have a question and a couple of comments.
Do you recommend using an anti-sieze compound where the tie-rod ends thread into the body?
The left-hand thread tie-rod end fits fine, but the right-hand thread tie-rod end has a black coating and the tolerances are quite snug. When I thread the rh tre in, it scrapes the coating off the threads. I'll have to use vise-grips or something to hold the body while I thread the tre, but I think it'll be ok.
If you'd machine a couple of shallow flats into the body, in future production runs, it would alleviate using vise-grips or a pipe wrench for adjustments which will score the body.
My 2 cents.
I'm looking forward to getting it installed. Thanks, Mike
