CPT bumpstops

I'm working on fixing some of the po "upgrades" by changing my suspension. Goal is to be able to stuff a tire inside the factory wheel wells w/o having to do any trimming. Right now I'm pretty sure that means I need a 31" tire (haven't decided on the width yet). I will probably be running a 1" body lift, 4" suspension lift and no extended shackles on a SUA.

Will the factory bumpstops be sufficent for keeping the tire from rubbing or do I need the CPT bumpstops?

You are going to need to flex out your Scout in order to determine the height/location of the bumpstops. Stock ones will work fine under normal use but if you plan on any moderate to extreme wheeling than you might want to upgrade to our CPT bumpstops especially if you like to go fast over bumpy/washboard roads or carry a heavy cargo load. Either bumpstop will need its height location determined and adjusted using spacers to determine the optimal height of your particular set up. Best way to test is on a RTI ramp. We have one here at the store that we allow others to use however if you are not local try checking with one of your local four wheel drive clubs.
