Clutch not releasing

Hello everyone!

First post here. Writing to you IH pros from Denmark!

I'm currently having some issues with my 1968 IH 1200c 4x4. It was modified from a pickup to a pumper to serve the Danish firefighters back in the 70s and 80s.

Regarding my troubles:

The clutch pedal has the normal tension and goes all the way down as it should, but the clutch disc isn't disengaging. Unfortunately, the vehicle has been sitting idle for the past year, which might be why it's stuck.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to get it going? Let me know if theres any information that would help clarify.

If you can do it safely, try to start it in 1st gear with the clutch pressed. Sometimes that will break it free.

One time this happened to me and I had to start the truck in 3rd, drive down the road fully pinned and pushed the clutch in, and it broke free. I'm not advising this to you as it is dangerous, however it solved my issue.
