Carb 2300 ID Help

If the carb is original to that motor and it's truly a '73, then the IH p/n should be the first line stamped on the front of the air horn, right hand side facing the engine. Second line May say "list" followed by a four digit string with a suffix (maybe). Third line is date code and is not important at all.
The list number is what is important.
If there appears to be a "stick-on" label on the air horn or body, that indicates some kind of commercial reman, hopefully there will be a number string printed on that. If it is a reman, then that number is what is important.
I can tell ya what it's had oem, but that doesn't matter with this old stuff, what does matter is what you have and need parts for.
Try again...and take a flashlight and shine at an oblique angle on the air horn to make the numbers stand out.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. I some how could not get my pic's to down load so I sent them to Jeff. I messed up on the series of Holley crab that is on my scott. Jeff got back to me and told me it is a 2210 or 2245 series crab. There is only 2 numbers stamped on the card. #0523 and b-9. I will try the flashlight on the air horn. Ill let you know what I find.

You have a Holley 2210c with the bowl vent and the hicd component. Your list # "should" be 6443, and the IH p/n stamped above it would be 436901-c91.
The numbers will not be on the air horn, since you said you thought it was 2300, that is where the numbers would be.
On the 2210c, the numbers are on the front of the fuel bowl, fairly large numerals. If they appear to be kinda washed out, then that means that carb is a reman and was put through a bead blasting process to clean it (a non-no in my world) and the numbers have been partially obliterated.
Jeff has the appropriate service kit part number as I advised him now.
