Camber Shims (not ball joint bushings)

I'm pretty sure once I get my alignment checked that I'm going to need to adjust my camber settings on my d44 in my 78 Scout (I can visually detect the camber). My question is: "are the camber shims that moog produces (cosmos type) compatable with the 8 bolt spindles that IH used?

The pics on rockauto's site for the k9747 looks as though they would work with the 8 bolt spindles, but I would like the opinion of somebody that has dealt with them before I decide to give it a try.

As soon as I get my tie-rods in and do a basic toe adjustment I'm going to an alignment shop to see exactly what I have and see what I need to bring it back into spec so I can get the correct shims to get everything in agreement.

Yes, I have used them. For me they were definitely better then using the ball joint ones. Since I used to go through about 2 ball joints a year. No having to readjust stuff.

Thanks for the input. I would much rather use the shims if at all possible as well. At least I know I can source parts now.

If by chance they don't fit, I'm sending them to you to drill the extra holes! :icon_razz:
