alright folks thought I'd start here, I have a very specific project in mind so hear me out...
I want to convert my 1/2 ton into a 1 ton. I want to put a 1967 silverstreak cabover camper on the bed and travel with it without suspension issues...my idea involves permanently mounting the camper into a utility bed (for additional storage).
I want to be able to unbolt the camper bed when not in use and put on the truck bed.
Here are my suspension specific ideas and questions:
I'm thinking of putting in a Dana 60 axle with 1 ton springs...will this work?
Was the c1100 1/2 ton frame different in any way from the c1300 frame?
I'll have a new hd driveline made...
