Bump stops

As you can see from the picture, this upper bump stop is destroyed on both sides of the truck. Any idea as to how the hell thus can happen to the upper control arm and who sells replacements?

Rotten rubber on a 50 year old truck, who'da thunk it? My guess is the torsion bars are set to high and the a arms are toping out on bumps. Bad shocks won't help either. Let's take a look at the remnants of what is there and see if there is something off the shelf that would work.
