Building My 76 Scout II

[76 IH Scout II]

I am looking at building myself a 76 Scout II as a mud truck, but still make it street legal. I am going to stick with the leaf spring front and rear. I am wondering what size tires I can run on the stock Dana 44s with 4:88 gears. I am not going to run the IH motor or trans I don't think. I would like to run 36s, but I don't know if the axles will hold up with them axles. Is there anything I should really know before I start my project. Any information will be helpful.
