Found it on cl and just went to look at it for giggles and grins on Tuesday. It was a great price and I couldnt pass it up. 
went today and got her, the owner knew the orginal owner/purchaser and all the strange mods that are done to it were done at an IH dealer, but there's no paperwork to prove it. It has a 266 v8 with a short bellhousing, t90, d18, warn o/d, 4 springs on the trac-lock rear d27 wih coil-overs, 3 fuel tanks, and a potable water tank. It hasnt run in awhile, so the first thing is to get her running/driving and then see what needs to be done to get her to dd status.

the 4 leaf spring packs in the rear and 11 leaf pack in the front must make that thing ride like a dump truck! It looks like a pretty straight 61/62 Scout though. Once it is cleaned up it would be interesting to see what was all done to this truck as someone put a lot of $$$ into it many moons ago.
