Body Shop II

Yes, this Saturday, April 25th, is the second body shop class led by my neighbor herman. We will focus on the little red wagon's half cab top. It has every mistake in the book as far as attempted body work. Herman will show how to correct these mistakes along with focusing on paint prep.

The class starts at 10am and all the other particulars can be found here.

At noon, or whenever we decide we are hungry, we till stop for the usual IHSTO potluck so bring something to share. Linda and I will provide drinks and a bbq.

Hope to see everyone on Saturday.

We had an excellent class last Saturday even though there were only 3 attendees. Michael dimock, uncle Mike and gregf.

Herman performed major miracles on linda's s80 half cab top. He told us if we had brought it into his body shop 20 years ago he would have told us to scrap it and find another one. This one was really beat up by the po. Even though it isn't finished, it looks 100 times better than what we started with.

I will embed some pics as soon as I figure out how.

That was a perfect size for some one-on-one with herman!

And while yawl were doin' that class, I pulled the front sheetmetal off our s80 since now that linda's rig is way ahead of us agin, I been shamed into some cosmetic improvements. That May mean no more tractor/skidder duty for a while!
