Vehicle for sale is my first 1963 International Scout 80 project. After getting well into this project it needs a more qualified home. I purchased this vehicle a few years ago, and it was titled out of California as a 1973 Scout 80. After research and confirmation from the original line set ticket (and a level 3 inspection from AZDOT), it is properly titled as a 1963. About a year ago I started working on this truck. The original 152 4cylinder motor runs and sounds just like a tractor. I believe the transfer case on this truck is out of a Scout 800, it is not what came with the Scout 80 originally. After getting it running and driving (clutch didn’t work but you could change the gears), teardown began. Body came off and was sandblasted then EPOXY COATED. What is left you see in the pics, extensive rust and body damage that is beyond my skill and budget. The vehicle is almost completely disassembled, the frame and running gear is still intact (steering wheel is removed). This is a project for someone who can do Sheetmetal work in their sleep. It is not cost effective for me to pay a shop to complete these repairs, so I found a different project truck. As a result, I AM INCLUDING with this 1963 Scout 80 several parts I don’t need from my new project. I am selling all of this as a package, I will not sell parts from the list below.
