After a month of cutting, grinding, welding, and some serious hours working on the '69 800 I took it out for the first run last night. For having 3.54 gears with 37inch tires it worked well. It eventually spit off the power steering pump belt and chewed it because it was loose. I had to drive home without power steering and brakes which sucked. It has Scout II d44's and a 304, 4speed and a d20. I have a Scout II power steering box on it with a hydro boost. IH Parts America supplied me with the Rough Country lift, powersteering pump, bump stops(CPT) and other odds and ends like the stainless twinsticks and caster shims. The truck steers awsome and brakes great. No big problems so far. I just wanted to support IH Parts America a bit and give them a thanks... I now have the name hardcore for thashing so hard in the last month to get it done.
