I had my Scout II traveler out in a heavy storm yesterday evening. This is the first time it's been in a rainstorm since I installed my bestop full softop. It poured water in from the area around the winshield and the aluminum bracket that holds the front of the top to the winshield.
Are there any fixes to try and solve this problem? I don't expect my soft top to be watertight, but it had a steady flow of water coming down on my lap. I am pretty positive I installed the top correctly, and did use a new windshield to top seal as well.
Would it be a good idea to take the 2 aluminum bracket pieces and have them welded together, to try and eliminate some of the gaps. Any homeade things I could try? I'm at a loss here.
Just looking for any ideas because as of now, my Scout is pretty much undriveable in a storm.
Thanks for any advice.
