Best battery for a Scout?

I have a 1975 Scout with a 345 v8 engine. I’m wondering what people think the best battery brand and size is for my Scout? Thanks.

(I’m not a daily driver, probably out once per week. If I go longer than a week then I connect a trickle charger)

A group 24 AGM type battery is about perfect for a Scout. They are very vibration resistant and have a very low self discharge rate, so they won't need the trickle charger. There are lots of different brands, but only about half a dozen companies manufacture them.

I run a group 34 AGM from Sam's club. They're made in the USA and have a 3 year free replacement. you can't really go wrong with any American made AGM
