Went on the web sight to join cal 4 but I see you guys were tlking about a club mebership thing whats the word on this

For us to be considered for club membership, we need at least 4 personal memberships. They can also be an asset to us in the production of next year's winter nats.

For the wheelers in the group, this is the lobbying group that battles the sierra club and other environmental groups to keep your trails open.
 
I joined cal 4 for the molina ghost run . While I was there I spoke to them about babs joining as a club . We have a few details to work out with them (basicly our offical unoffical status ) . Basicly the brass tacks are we need a total of 4 menbers to join qualify as a club . So if your intersted please post up . As soon as we get a total of 4 we get things gooing . I think there will be many bennifits to a club menbership espicaly when it comes to there support for our events . Not to mention all there land use efforts .

What all is needed to join (babs and cal4)??
I'm on the babs mailing list and would like to join the club, but have yet to make it to a meeting, dinner, outing, or anything, lol.
I've had my Scout a couple years now, and haven't driven it once :(
I've been trying to get the Scout done first, and it's gotta be reliable, cause the family and I are in sacramento, which is the only reason I haven't made any meeting's to meet everyone yet.
So, is it just a matter of paying club dues for babs and cal4, or is there more to it ??
I'll pitch in if it will help the club :thumbsup:.
Oh, and what's the deal with scouts west, was that closer to sac ?????
Are there any members from babs that are in/around sac, or would I be the only one, lol ???

Country boy check out the babs by laws , it prety much sums us up , lol rl . Babs is great bunch of helpful folks mainly from the greater bay area . That said we dont descremnate do to location . We actualy have sevral "menbers" in the sac. Area . (my son stacy is actualy living in hearld now ) . We also have "menbers from clear lake to santacruz , and all points beond & between .
To the point,and the point of this paticular thred . If you would like to help us out , join cal 4 as menber of bay area binder socity . This is dun by
filling out the cal 4 registration as such. This will help us in our menbership count . We should be a cal 4 club after there July 21 distric meeting :gringrin:

No dues to pay, but we do have the "pass the hat foundation", which is coming up soon. Passing the hat funds some of our major activities. By now you read the bylaws Which explains things

scouts west is a good club to join. It's a socal based club the closest chapter to us is grapevine.

I was looking at the scouts west site a while back, but isn't that more towards l.a., man, I haven't even been able to make it to the bay yet,:rolleyes: but I'm hoping to change that, lol.

Jeff blewett, secretary tresurer, of cal 4's north district attended our dinner last night. Had four to sign up: dan, dave, cheese & Joe. Jayson and ramon took apps.

cal 4 membership signups.
In the additional comments sections type referred by Jeff blewett and mention Bay Area Binder Society.

We are looking good.
