I recently purchased a 1966 Scout 800 and in the process of making it into a weekend wheeler. I live out in so-cal and have started purchasing the necessary parts for the suspension, I have a rear Dana 44 and leaf springs from a yj plus the bushings and perches that go along with it. My question is I am looking for a front Dana 44 axel that would be an almost built up and will work with my Dana 20 transfer case any suggestions. I prefer for it to be on the cheaper side. What kinds of thing do I need to be looking for?
