Son of a gun…
on a whim I put a dinner announcement on craigslist in the IH for sale section. We had 5 new guys show up for dinner. I had 2 emails asking to be added to the mailing list. I guess we have a new way of finding folks. On the drive home, dave said to include a post in the parts section.


I still gotta get cards made.
 
I should be working, but the boss isn’t looking so I’ll do this instead.

After last night’s windfall, I just updated the craigslist post with a few embellishments here and there. Shoot, I’ll post this weekly and see what happens. What else can I add to the mix?

the Bay Area Binder Society [babs] Is a group of local IH enthusiasts.
No dues... No need to "join"... Just come and participate with your old iron.

Local activities.........
Sierra Fall Rallye is an annual IH truck show in the sierra foothills in October; meetings/dinners; group tune-up and wrench days; toys-4-tots; IH swap meets; bbq’s; and more.
For the wheeling crowd: hollister hills; rubicon; etc. Babs supports cal4wdc.
Interests.............
scouts; pickup; Travelall; fire engines; etc.
IH made goods: tractors; chugger engines; refrigerators; m1 rifle; etc
parts assistance.............
We probably have one or know where to find it.
Technical assistance..............
Some of the most knowledgeable IH people around or we know who to ask.

We are having our monthly meeting/dinner next Tuesday, April 26 at 7:00 in fremont. We usually close down the restaurant by 9:00 and then move to the parking lot with our trucks and more talk.
