I'm trying to get my rig ready for it's first out of town venture. I'm going to try and make it down to hollister, but I'd like to get an opinion on the state of my 69 Scout before making the trip. There are the various knocks and thumps that I can't figure out and I'm not sure about the drive train. I've been able to fix everything so far, I just need to know what else to fix. I've got a case of cold beer (your choice), if you can make it out. Maybe some spare parts as well. Thanks. Dave.

If you can hold out for a while, and if your truck is drivable and can make it over the hill into fremont, come to our next dinner. There will be plenty of guys to help ya out.

Talk is the beginning of March for the next dinner.

I'm trying to get it looked at sooner so I have the time to fix any issues. I will try to make it to the diner anyways. I've been prevented from going by mechanical issues previously. Thanks

I rock mine on the street everyday. I'm proud of my Scout, it May not be the prettiest or the most mechanically sound, but it pounds the pavement like no other truck I've owned. I can't wait till it's trail ready.

I drove mine a bunch before I started the paint process. I want to be able to drive her to work a few days a week and run out for camping trips. As soon as im done with paint it will prob be driven daily for awhile!!!

Oakland (alameda) jack and I will be working all day tomorrow in my garage. Stop by if your free.
