Thanks for the welcome.

I have a 1978 Scout II with a 304 IH v-8 with a 3 speed manual trans. It has Dana 44's w/ 3.55 gears, 4" trail master suspension lift w/ 33" pathfinder a/t tires on 15 x 8 American racing outlaw II wheels.

It has a soft top and roll bar, winch and warn off road and fog lights.

I did all the mod work on her myself back in the early 90's but it has not run in almost 10 years now and have been planning on doing a complete overhaul on her, but have not had the time or money.

I just recently decided that I am not getting any younger, so I am in the beginning stages of rebuilding her.

I do plan on keeping the Dana 44's, but put a 327 Chevy small block and a different trans in her.

Sounds like you have a plan. That's a start, I am working on mine alot lately too! I am not getting any younger either. Lol

Good to see more people building binders I have built all kinds of things but nothing is like a Scout in my opinion I have 10 vehicles right now and the Scout is one of a kind and one of my favorites.
