Another reverse shackle question

In the beginning stages of a new project and I'll be using your reverse shackle kit.
What angle would you recommend for the rear shackle for mock up if the project is just a rolling chassis, I.e., no weight of the body? I used 15 degrees on the last kit I used, but it was on a complete vehicle. I was thinking 10 degrees, but wanted to know your thoughts before I pull the trigger, pardon the pun.
For more help, this will be a Scout II frame, 800 body,196 and a manual trans.
.
thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Well this would just be an educated guess, but I would probably say 10* sounds right. If your springs are really soft or stiff it could change the outcome. We usually stack cylinder heads on the frame to simulate the weight at the shop since we have plenty of them. Use your best judgement but it sounds like you are on the right track already.

Thank you sir!

I wasn't sure if I was on the right track or if there was a secret black ops measurement you guys use from eye to eye.

I thought about the cylinder head thing, but I don't have any extras lying around.
Instead, I might employ a friend of mine who is quite fluent in hops and barley to sit on the front crossmember. Figure that ought to be close enough......
