Heys guys one of the things that needs fixing on my Scout is the alt. Using my fluke meter checked voltage at the battery and it slowed declined as it was running . Now its a very good possibility that its no good but would like to test it to make sure. As usual thanks for any input

It has been my experience that an auto parts store will test your alternator for free.
Remove it, take it in, ask them to test it.
Alternators can be rebuilt easily or rebuilt units are usually in stock at the auto parts store.
If you end up buying a rebuilt unit, ask them to test it also to confirm it is working and puts out the advertised amperage prior to departing the store.
