hey every one first time on here so hope I ask questions rt. I have 73 Scout ii with a 345 4 x 4 & I am rewiring my alternator after disconnecting my duel battery set up & I don't have the stock 10 ohms resistance wire that goes from the alternator tab #1 to the fuse box (as my wiring diagram shows) and I cant locate one any where. If I wire a dummy light in place of the 10 ohms resistance wire key on side of fuse box or Ign. switch will that work and excite the alternator correctly?
