adding a 79 brake booster to a 72 with none

I have a 1972 ihc Scout II, 304, 2x4, with manual brakes.
I have a 79 Scout with a 345, 4x4 (disk front-drum rear) and a dual diaphragm type booster on it. I plan to, or so I hope, convert the 72 to a 4x4 using parts from the 79.

I also planned on starting with the booster and cylinder first. When I had more time I would transfer the axles, transfer case and everything else needed.

My question: can I use the booster and mc on my 72 2x4? The mounting will work, from my calculations. The reason I ask is that the spot on my intake, where the vacuum to the booster would go, is missing. There is a round circle there, but no hole or fitting. Does this mean I am screwed unless I replace the intake?

You should be able to "t" into the pcv vacuum line for the booster.

You will need to move the proportioning valve too. You will probably want to move the front axle at the same time because iirc drum brake master cylinders leave a little residual pressure in the system.
