Here's the next money pit, I mean IH, I just picked up for my early birthday present to myself. The kids owe me big...if they'd quit having grandkids I wouldn't need a bigger IH. Hopefully we never have to buy back the 10 door Travelall stageway airporter Mike sold to a fire dept. In Colorado.

Mike wrote out the specs, 1971 Travelall custom, 1210 4 x 2, showing 49,000 + on the odometer, from wear and tear we think it's correct. Pedal wear was minimal. Motor: 392, t-34 transmission, Dana 60 rear 4.10 gears, IH heavy duty tow package with jr. West coast tow mirrors, 11" clutch, 19 gallon stock tank, 16 gallon reserve, 30 gallon reserve= 65 gallons or $200+/- to fill them up. Colors are stock alpine white top and bottom, wood grain is under the black paint, line setting ticket is two pages!

We brought it home this weekend after buying it from dennis and christine in madera, CA, only 20 miles from where we picked up old blue 10 years ago.

Thanks for putting the beast to bed to night son son(rick) :icon_wink: .

We want to welcome my son in law and family; shane, isaac, caleb and jenny. We'll see you at our next IH show in dobbins. Enjoy blue, you didn't have to wait for me to die, you can take your sticky note now :yikes: .

Love Mom.

Yawl interested in one more "free" (yeah I know all about that term) 1210 down in yore woods???? I kin make it happen...email me at:

rodelizrd@gmail

for deetales. It's actually a twofer kinda deal that just popped up late yesterday evening. But you will need a significant storage facility for one of 'em, it's 29ft. Short!

Mike, is that 29 footer a 3-4-5 door per side traveall? I'll get it out of Chad if I don't hear from ya. Thanks

The 1210 is a plain old two door model, (no t'ette!)... But the 29 foot unit that drug along behind it May have a buncha doors if ya count the storage bays...it's supposed ta be a komfort!

Make Chad share, afterall this is yore thread he snaked!

Maiden voyage this week!!!!! Got 14 miles of driving done on the wb, needs some brake work, feels like the trailer brake is overriding the proportioning valve, saw some wires hanging...

Drives like a dream. Cleaned one of three fuel tanks and ran new fuel line, rickie dropped a new edelbrock on the top of it a we were off. Now we need to work on the radiatior, brakes and tires, interior's last. Should be at IHSFR in October! Working on yb yellow beast, should be there too.
