I have over $6000 worth of receipts that were put into this Scout. This thing is a beast. It runs very strong. This is my dream car, and I am very sad to see it go, but transmission went out in my work truck and work must come before play, so the Scout has to go. If I had the money to keep both I would in a heartbeat. I've used this thing as a weekend wheeler and as a daily driver. It does have dents and scratches (its a wheeler!) its not going to win any "show and shine" competitions, but thats fine by me. It still looks good enough to turn heads cruising through town, but is broken in enough to not have to worry about scratching the thing when you are out camping with it. This Scout is a ton of fun, great for summer, could make a perfect graduation present for some very lucky kid. This rig has driven to mexico and made many trips to the sierra Nevada's and the foothills. Truck comes with a ton of extra Scout stuff including replacement passenger side fender if you want a dent free one.
Asking price is $5000 obo, I am willing to negotiate on price.
I might be interested in trading for a toyota pickup 4x4 or dodge cummins 4x4, but not interested in other trades as I either need a new work truck or $$$ to fix my current one.
Please call, text or e-mail me if you have any questions,
I live outside of scotts valley in felton, California - which is in the santa cruz mountains. I can show the truck in santa cruz or los gatos to serious parties.
Pictures below are as follows: Scout topless is from last summer, with the old 33" tires. Scout driver and passenger sides were taken last weekend, with current new 35" tires. Doorless Scout pic is from yesterday. I'm currently driving the truck without doors, as it is more fun that way!
