I have owned and built a few different scouts over the years. This is my newest scout project.

1977 traveler.

It has a spring under lift with 3 inch springs. Longer shackles. Shackle reversal 35x12.50r15 tires . 345 close ratio 4 speed. 3.73 gears.

I’m planning on doing a spring over axle lift. Cut and turn the front axle with high steering and hydro assist.

I plan to keep the 3.73 gears but put a atlas 3 speed transfer case in it so I have a nice low crawl ratio.

Anyone know if there are any options for going back to stock hight springs for doing a spring over lift?

Find some used springs or get someone like Alcan to build you new ones.

Made some new fancy door panels.

I did A carbon fiber wrap on the door panels and then built the diamond plate insert
