Figured I would throw my first post on here! 
I finally picked up a 76 last week that my father in law has had in his possession for a fairly long time. It was a project he never got around to, and I'm taking over. This rig has been sitting in a field for the better part of 3-4 years (and spent the prior 7-8+ years sitting along side my inlaw's place). Prior owner made some pretty heinous interior modifications that are gradually being reversed.
specs:
76 Scout II
304 v8
4 speed manual
fairly stock unit at the time being
planned upgrades:
new 31" rubber on either 15 or 16" black d lugs
2 1/2" lift
motor clean up/carb rebuild
interior gut/repair/"rhino" line
roll bar/soft top eventually
clean up electrical/housing gaskets and rubber seals
demo progress has been gradual.
