73 Model 1310 Equipment Options

I am curious to find out what equipment (engine and drivetrain) did a 73 travelette come from the factory with back in 72 /73?

Robert,I think that the 401 amc would be a bit too much in a 1310,kinda non-useful? I've really never seen a 401 factory in anything bigger than a 1000,1010,, ? Jeff

IH would put any IH engine option in an IH vehicle if the customer wanted it.

In March 1973, the IH salesman offered me the option of the amc 401 for my 1210 t/a -- instead of a 392. From what I have "learned", the reason for the amc 401 option was to "relieve" pressure on the supply of 392s.

So, a customer could put a amc 401 in a 1310 if he wanted -- whether many did put a 401 in a 1310 is a different question.
