'73 1110 4WD Travelall with front disc conversion

I have a 1973 1110 4wd auto tranny (727) 392 Travelall that had a disc brake conversion done up front by a po. Michael mayben had looked at this t'all and felt the conversion had been done well. My mechanic says that it needs new front rotors, pads and grease seals to get the brakes squared away. The rotors are apparently too thin for them to be resurfaced. He also says that it appears it was a Ford conversion based on what he is seeing.
I've not been able to find any replacement rotors based on the potential part #'s he supplied: 4282 or 1121n or mci5056 or minthk1-1121n (or any variation of these). Yet, somehow he was able to give me a quote on the rotors alone @ $290 each (no labor). Since I was at a client site, I really couldn't talk further about that point.
Can anyone provide insight as to what parts 'might' have been used, whether that price seems right (seems very high to me me) and what other avenues I could or should go down before getting the brakes fixed? Anything to do this on the cheap, since I am trying to get this truck sold and have a buyer. He drove it, braked hard, and it shimmy'ed a bit when he braked and wanted to know what it was before buying it. So, I got it to my mechanic to look at it and here I am.
I am out of town until Thursday, 9/20, and May then be able to provide pics of them for better id, but thought I'd get this out in case I can get a jump on it.

Only thing that comes to mind is mid 80's Ford f-150 truck or full size Bronco front brakes.

Pictures will help

Good guess, though it wasn't a quiz!
I was able to trace it to an '85 Bronco full size. Interestingly enough, the po had used Chevy calipers and pads with it. Those hub/rotor assemblies were expensive! $204 each at napa.
Of course, all this mess was discovered when a prospective new buyer was checking it out, so I had to really get it all fixed to feel good about selling it (either to him or to the next potential one). I wouldn't feel good selling it as-is once I found it needed work.

That is actually a common mod. Ford rotors and hubs with Chevy calipers and brackets. Rotors alone aint cheap as you noticed. Pads are cheap. My front Dana 44, I had been using has the same conversion, except that mine actually has the Ford huge calipers. Had I known at the time, I would have prefered the Chevy ones instead.

I can totally relate to getting it fixed before selling it. I wouldn't feel comfortable either. Wish I had the funds and was closer. I would seriousely consider taking it off your hand and do the brake job my own self.

Btw
since ya gotta take the rotor out to be replaced, it be a good idear to replace the bearings and seals too.

We think alike. Did buy 4 new bearings and the seals, too.
For those who might read this later, I will post all part numbers.
