‘72 D-1010 brake booster used on ‘71 1210 Chevy Dana 44 conversion

Hi everyone, as the title says, I’m wondering if I could swap a ‘72 1010 power brake booster into my ‘71 2wd to Chevy Dana 44 with discs, conversion? Thanks, Erik

You will need a disc/drum master cylinder but otherwise it should work fine.

okay, great, that’s kind of what I thought. Newb question for sure, but I typically just keep everything stock. I towed a vehicle recently and the drum brakes got hot and slippery. After researching here and other places, it seemed like popping in a Chevy Dana with discs would be the easiest way to get discs up front.

Forgot about the master and of course the proportioning valve, but planned to swap the whole shebang over to the 2wd ‘71. Thanks, Erik
