Go to napa and get a ps pump for a 90s Chevy 1500 truck or 2000s astro van without housing. I researched with a p/s pump remanufacturer the pumps are all very close in psi at idle and all the same as Scout over 1500 rpm. You can usually find one in stock for $50 to $90. I am running a pump from a 2003 astro van. I just had to switch the housing. I was able to find a reman pump with Scout housing at riebes in placerville, CA. For $64.00. I haven't researched the gear, but if napa doesn't have it I would look into an amc comparable vehicle like the j series truck
