Got her home yesterday on a flatbed. The battery dies, the carb leaks, the trans leaks, both rockers need to be replaced, it looks like the windshield frame need to be replaced (we'll see), it needs new fenders, the top needs some lovin, theres an exhaust leak, and it looks like someone has done some creative wiring.
All in all I'm happy!! The floorboards are solid, the tub looks good, it runs like a top (when it starts), the t-case is in good shape and works, both axles are good, brakes are good, all the electrical seems to work (even the heater), tires have good tread.
It is not a fabled 810..............its just another Scout II. Today I will start replacing the vacume hoses and the belts, along with a trans pan gasket. Figure out if the battery is crap, and see if I can find the exhaust leak. That should take care of today.
