'67 Scout 800B Questions

Hello,

I had been looking for an 800 series in good decent shape and stumbled upon a 1967 800B that was in really good condition, so I purchased it. I want to make several modifications / improvements but am not entirely sure the best place to purchase them / have some of them done. Specifically, I was hoping to do the following:

- repaint it / repair body
- add a roll bar
- recover the seats
- add fender flairs
- new exhaust
- change the wheels / tires
- add disc brakes
- re-chrome the bumpers / accent pieces

I won't do all of these initially, however, the roll bar, disc brakes and body & repainting are things I'd like to get done before the summer. All of these questions no doubt have been answered in this forum, but I don't really know where to start looking. I live in the new york / manhattan / long island area - is anyone familiar with a shop that specializes or is at least familiar with scouts?

Any help / direction on where to go / look / how much these things May cost is much appreciated. Apologies if this is really redundant. I'm just really excited to finally have the truck after a while of looking!

for most of what's on your list, I couldn't make any kind of good recommendations. Considering I'm way out here on the west coast. Not sure if IHPA has the fender flares for your IH. Might give them a call and ask, since not everything they sell is listed in the online store. Good luck with the build

If your Scout is really an 800B it would be a 71. In 67, it was just an 800.
