‘63-‘68 4x4 IH p/u

Good morning!

Currently working in the Tacoma, WA area...looking for a ‘63-‘68 4x4 IH p/u. Prefer a running driving vehicle...even if it’s not completely road worthy...it should be able to start up...move under it’s own power...and stop. Surface rust OK...minor rust through would be considered. No rust buckets please.

May even consider one on my route back to the MidWest...as I’ll be taking a road trip back home (Michigan) for a visit late Spring/early Summer.

Happy Easter!

I’d consider an older model...pre-1955...even though it may be a 2WD. (my understanding is 4x4’s didn’t start showing up until early-mid 50’s)

On that note...

...what 4x4 running gear fits underneath an IH truck? I’ve seen a few posts on Chevy drive trains...S-10’s and the like...and would depend on wheel base and such...anybody putting anything else under them?

Does the later model IH 4x4 running gear (60’s and 70’s pick-ups) fit under the earlier IH body styles (w/o modification)?
