So the trans needs to come out so I can replace the clutch/throwout/clutch arm stud/bushing.:yikes:ive already dropped both drivelines, how do you slide the trans back with all the gearshifts,do they come off from the top?the upper bellhousing bolt on the driver side sits real close to the body,is there any tricks for this bolt besides cutting a hole in the sheet metal?is there just the 4 bolts I can see?once everything is loose unbolt the cross member and slide backwards?can I just remove the 4 trans to bellhousing bolts through the trans cover hole and pull the shaft out that way?

Yep it works, just dropped the trans, throwout is shot the clutch arm bushing only has a tiny amount of side to side play, the missing nut on the end of the shaft was probably all I was feeling, the round studs that hook into the to bearing are squared off on one side,I can probably put a weld on each of them and reshape them...whats the most affordable clutch kit?
