62 Scout 80 basket case SOLD
I am ready to part with a project that has been sitting for too long. It is a 62 Scout 80. I took the body off the frame, and everything off the frame. I was in the process of putting different quarter panels on the rear when I moved it outside. There is heavy surface rust on most of the body. The engine (152) ran but it was not a driver when I got it (brakes had leaked dry). I was told it drove and shifted a couple of years before I got it but that's not confirmed. I have two sets of axles, a short top (no bulkhead) and a full top. Lots of duplicate parts from stripping a donor vehicle (dashes, drive shafts, doors, steering columns and wheels, radiators etc.) I was in the process of converting it to right hand drive. All the parts are there to complete that. The steering box bracket has been welded in place on the right. I had the pink and have started the paperwork with dmv. I need to get a vin verification before it can be completed. I May owe some small fees to dmv beacuse I started the paperwork over a year ago. I will sell the whole project for 300 with the completed vin verification forms. If I go to dmv to get the actual new pink I am likely going to raise the price for my pain and suffering.
If you don't like sanding and playing with acid products this truck isn't for you.
No shipping. Not looking to separate parts at this time. I need the space for another project. I will get current pics posted after the weather clears. Truck is in napa, CA
