what is the spring rate for the 47in springs in the new kit?
What is the load rating of the spring,1200lb,1400lb or 1900lb ?
I know you told me they are 3/4 ton springs. I got the lb information from the general spring web site for 73-87 Chevy 4x4 truck.

Bob,

I'll give my sales guy a call who sells me the Skyjacker springs and see what information that he can provide for me.

I just got off the phone with a salesman at Skyjacker who's leafsprings we use in our CPT long travel kit - CPT long travel front suspension system - IH Parts America Scout. You will notice on our online store that there are three choices of lift. The stock lift springs in our kit are rated at 425 pounds per inch, the 2" lift springs are rated at 510 pounds per inch and the 4" lift springs are rated at 530 pounds per inch. If you don't understand spring ratings it takes xxx amount of pressure to compress the spring one inch. As for load rating Skyjacker could not answer this question for me.

Jeff, do you know what about the stock rear rate is?

I had looked it up at one time but the info has slipped my mind. I have info coming from a local spring shop so I should be able to answer your question afterwards.

Great, I just need to know where to start with coils, I am looking for close to stock ride, maybe a touch softer

Is the main spring the same for the stock, 2", and 4"? Is the center pin offset, if so which way.
Thanks for the help.

Wish I could answer this for you but at this time I have none of these springs in stock to measure off of.
