I know the transfer case is just shy of 2 quarts fill to it seeps out. But I cannot find any info on how much the 4 speed holds. I don't want to start and not have enough on hand. I am also going to use a 50w in both is this ok? Based on my reading it seams to be the way most recommend.

Any of the ihc-installed four speed transmissions use 7 pints,..."nominal".
Perfect thanks for the info. After scraping off about an inch of grime I drained both today and the transfer case looked great gold oil color no shavings. Guessing the po drained and refilled after he trashed the front axel. The transmission however look kinda foggy like water was in it an it was sparkling from shavings. Nothing big looks like normal ware and tear. Thanks for the info again.
