345 t-19

Sunday I am getting a 345 minus its 727. I would like to find a t-19 for it. Is it easiest to get a complete donor and strip all the needed parts? If not whats interchangable, mismatchable etc for parts as im new in this dept. Thanks for any help!!

I second getting a donor. Mine didn't cost much, and it has both the motor and transmission I initially wanted in the driveable Scout - you never know what you can find.

I have a t-19a that came out of a 1980 diesel, it's got 4.something 1st.gear, I also have the throw out bearing, adapter to tc, d300 with the "texas" bolt pattern and drive shafts.
