I bought a '70 800a a few months back. The previous owner stated the engine was a 304, it has infact turned out to be a 266; it's mated to a bw11 auto. The tag on the door has the power output for a 304 listed, so it sounds that somebody replaced the engine at some point in it's life. My question is was the 266 v8 ever available from the factory with the bw automatic?
