First time poster
Just finishing up a 266 to 345 motor swap on my ‘69 Scout 800. Running into a clutch adjustment issue. Re-used the 800 clutch linkage from firewall to cylinder head. It it seems that I’m out of adjustment and the horizontal bar/tube is right up again the cylinder head. Is this because the 345 is bigger then the 266? Ultimately can’t get the clutch pressed in to grab gears…
Already tried adjusting the pedal bar rod under dash.
Btw-it’s a 4 spd and the original unit that was behind the 266
Thank you in advance for any help
