This will be the 9th annual club gathering, it has been such a pleasure to start and run this club. I started this club when I was in high school back in 2017. It started off as a get together with a few buddies that I connected with selling scout parts. That year we had 5 scouts, a 1980 Rallye scout II, 1977 scout SSII, 1980 scout traveler diesel, 1977 scout traveler and another 1979 traveler. I had such a blast getting to talk scouts that then and there I knew it was something I wanted to keep doing and growing. Over the years it has grown into a well-known club across the scout world. Getting attention from companies such as super scout specialist and IH parts America who have recently started sponsoring our annual gathering by sending us some amazing door prizes to give away to members. When we started this club, we started off with 5 members today we stand at over 60+ members across multiple states and even a few members outside of the US. We plan to try and keep that number growing as much as we can to share the hobby, we all love and share the history of the scout to future generations.
Things you will see at our annual gatherings!!
• Scouts, pickups and trucks from all different time periods
• Tons of IH scout and truck collectibles, toys, original brochures, books and much more
• Parts for sale for scouts and pickups
• Able to meet some of the guys who ran dealerships that sold scouts and trucks new
• (Possibility of finding a scout or pickup for sale)
• Couple Rare IH tractors are always put on display also for the annual gathering
These are just some of the awesome things you will see when attending our gatherings. The awesome thing to me is you never know what is going to pull up the driveway could be a rare SSII to a travelall limo to even a beautiful original KB pickup! Hope to see many new members again on July 6th, 2024, and remember Scout anything less is just another car!
Reminder, we want any IH scout, pickup or truck from any year to attend. Anything from a rusty driver project to a nut and bolt restoration is welcome. We are starting to push for some large trucks also such as loadstar, transtar and eagles’ trucks. Anything pre-2000 is welcome! Anything newer please ask!
