The swap meet works. Begin listing your parts or needs.

Call Isa, he has an excellent inventory.

You can always display your wares on site which works.

I am interested in an original gas cap for a 1973 International pickup, (I am hoping it will vastly improve my gas mileage, :) )

1. Stock Scout Dana 300 gears (no bull gear) $50.
2. 727 auto transmission, 258 bellhousing, has broken low/reverse band apply lever. Transmission has very low miles since rebuild $100.
3. Set of Scout II interior side plastic inserts for full top, $75.
4. Scout 800 front seat $75.
5. Dana 20 transfer case $50.
6. Side fuel tank for 1973 Travelall $25.
7. Stock Scout II front skid plate $150.

So is the 'side tank' for a 1973 Travelall compatible with a 1973 pickup? And by side tank, I'm thinking this is an auxiliary tank that fills with the filler in front of the driver's door? Is it metal, or plastic?

It is metal and runs the length of the driver's side of the truck. The filler is right in front of the driver's side door.

So if the fuel tank fits my 1973 truck, which I believe you indicate it will, and there's not any caveat's like it needs to be boiled due to rust, it leaks, or is filled with concrete for example, then $25 dollars sounds like a deal of the century to me and I will take it. (I just have to figure out how to mount and plumb it). For grins, how many gallons are we talking? (anything will help my 10 gallon capacity right now).

In doing some research on the fuel tank, I was advised to make sure the mounting straps/brackets were include with the tank. Does it include the hardware to mount it?

*drove this Scout for about a year then decided to restore it. I got a little done and have not worked on it for a couple of years. It is in pieces and needs a lot of work but is in good shape. I have done the brakes new slaves and lines replaced where needed. Have not added fluid yet. Took out driver floor pan and got new one, have not installed it yet. Engine and trany work fine. Carb. Needs a cleaning. Rear bumper driver side has dent. Front bumper is not straight but close. Hood has crack in front passenger corner. Windshield is cracked bad have new gasket and door window felt for one window. New fillers necks for the fuel tanks. Needs wiring harness I tossed the old ones thinking I was going to get to installing a new one. No warranty / as-is where-is* will need to be trailered. Front seats have been recovered, tan and back seats look good, black. If you need more pictures or have any questions please ask.*

*wanted to add have pink slip and it has been non oped for a couple of years. Tires are holding air but are severely cracked. Not road worthy.

Some one asked so I will pass along answer. I meant it is going to take a lot to put it back together. There are two rust spots that I know of below upper door hing mount inner fender. Body and frame are good, have better tailgate that goes with Scout. Yes the drivers side floor was bad. The passenger floor has some small rust holes, I have cleaned out the fuel tanks but have not finished reinstalling them and they might need more cleaning. It does steer and I don't know if the parking brake works.

Anyone interested?

Some Scout II items I would bring to the rally if anyone is interested:

nice black vinyl rear seat complete with all brackets (bottom mounting plates and side holding pins). Also includes seat belts, but they should be replaced. $50

pair of heavy duty rear springs. $50

pair of stock front springs. $30

left and right door shells for later model (I.e. Wider arm rest). Couple of small dings and someone halfway scraped away the old side stickers down to the steel. Also, someone cut out speaker holes on the lower front kick panel area. $40 each

pm me if interested.

I'm sorry, forgot that part. I'm going to e-bay it again after rallye with a starting bid of 700$, any one here wants to take it off my hands they can have it and more for 700$ it needs a lot but I think it is worth it. I have an extra hull, frame and sport top that I picked up for the good tailgate. It has front and rear axles out of a 4*4 not even bolt in for rolling it. If anyone is interested you can call me as it is getting close. Richard 707-322-9186
