Ok so it is time to let go of one of my toys. With the new family edition on the way I figured it was this or one of the scouts.

2001 harley davidson xl, it started out life with 883cc's but later I improved it to 1200cc's. It now has buell heads, k&n filter, and screamin eagle pistons, ignition, and pipes. The bike also has limited edition 1957 replica paint and emblems and the tires have less than 500 miles.

1957...neighbor dude with cigs rolled into hiz sleeve had a new fiveseven sport same color. I wuz hiz papermonkee...he had a paper route, I sat on the pillion pad and tossed rollers from a canvas bag slung fore and aft over my haid. We road the sidewalks and I could porch every roller as long as the porch weren't growed over. Sunday mornins...3ayem wuz that best!

We could toss 125 rollers in twenty minutes.

That wuz the beginning of my downward spiral into sicklehell.

The other color that year wuz a kinda pinkish rosy-red on white.
 
Dang monte, that's too bad! When summer gets here, you'll be wishin' it was one of the scouts that went.

Thanks t. I believe I sold it today. It is going to a local fellow who I have known for years. He got one hell of a deal, I sold it for far less than it was worth.


I'll get another one in a few years, I had pretty much outgrown this one anyway.
