2" body lift stearing shaft questions

I have a 77 Scout 2 traveler that I am going two put a 2" body lift on. I was wondering would I have two extend the stearing shaft? If so how do I do it?

I did the same to my Scout II, but I also replaced the oem bushings as well. It gave me about a 3" lift and I used a borganson(sp) joint kit for the steering columm connection. You might get by with out the b-joint but it is a very good upgrade over the oem rag joint. You can get them right here on ihon.

Thanks for the help. When u did that did u have enough room for
33's or did u have two do more. I have 31's with good clearnce right now
